@PIKACHU49386 Hahaha, I actually did the same thing but on purpose after finishing the game just to see if there was any limit to the game's timeline. When I saw the ending I was pretty excited although I was a bit disappointed, I expected more action haha.

@dukejpc Yep! I stopped playing the game on April 12th, then a few months later, Before I decided to play Shenmue again, wanting to go back to the beginning to recap on the story, I tried sneaking one last time, and I got it on my first try. Then I eventually got to Apr. 15th and this ending happened. lol I beat the game sometime last year though. I just got Shenmue 2 recently so I 'm going to play the 1st one again since it didn't come with the movie. Hope I don't get stuck again. lol

Haha I remember getting this ending because I could never get past the guards to sneak into Warehouse No. 8... I was pissed! lol

Well since it seems like SEGA will never make Shenmue III or even release the rest of the story it looks like this the official ending.
Ryo returns home and gets killed in one fucking move.
