When the doctors said I had cancer I thought I'd build myself a race car and live the dream.

  • You aren't the guy from total perf in alicetown? You did my exhaust in 1993 lol back when 2 1/4 exhaust and 15" mags were the rage

  • @mikeusurper Yup that's me. I work from home now due to my illness.

  • did you win anything from the races?

  • @Lester996 Usually a trophy

  • @Zosimos1 no money or free parts?

  • @Lester996 I wish ! New Zealand is just too small for sponsors to pay any big money. If I raced in the States I'd probably be quite well off :)

  • @itzthecore @itzthecore It's horses for courses. There isn't a motorbike on the planet that can get over a tight winding hill-climb road as quick as a well set up car. A bike just doesn't have the grip or the speed through the tight corners. However a bike will win on the straights every time. Cheers!

  • @itzthecore Don't you know that there is not a single road racing track anywhere that a motorcycle holds the track record. Sorry to be the one who bursts your bubble.

  • Nice to see that you live your dream... I hope that you have got thru the cancer. Nice music chose also=)

  • This is so fucking cool!!!

  • nice build mate...ive just sold on my evo9 which much regret, but i have a series8 rx7 to keep me occupied. not in as bad a place as you potentially but suffer with pretty crippling neuralgia. its nice to see others use their cars as an escape too ;) gone through a 200sx, STi (06) and now the rotary, I think the Evo9 was the best car I had. amazing grip. on the road the rx7 has a small edge in steering feel/chassis. but the evo's grip&power owned it! keep up the updates, love to see it fixed?
