This video was inspired by the book "In Search of Christian Freedom" by Ray Franz that I am not very far into yet. It's a big book! It's really great so far though! This video may start out with a repetitive rant(I learned well from the society how to do that until people are bombarded enough to get it to seep in) but I hope you'll stay tuned for the questions toward the end. Please and thanks :-).This WILL NOT be my last vid on this..My next one will be a briefer one about the inspection in 1919.(lol)

Charles Taze Russell said in 1881:"Must I not join some organization on earth, assent to some creed and have my name written on earth? No,remember that Jesus is your pattern and teacher, and neither in his words nor acts will you find any authority for binding yourselves with creeds and traditions of the elders, which will tend to make the word of God to no effect."(Mark 7:13.)

So this video isn't to suggest that Charles Taze Russell would actually approve of all that this organization has become, but rather to emphasize the origin of it and question why it is perfectly ok to the rank and file Jehovah's Witnesses when their leadership discourages "touching an unclean thing" with a "bad origin" to embrace the organization that actually has a bad origin with unclean things according to its own literature and the principles it heralds?

So who EXACTLY are the faithful and discreet slave in the parable? To quote myself from another video description:

I am going to assume like most Christians that all true Christians are "slaves" of Christ, and that if they are "faithful and discreet",caring for one another (and also caring for those who need to hear the gospel and be cared for spiritually and even materially, emotionally, and physically) and handling the word of truth aright, then they are "faithful and discreet slaves."There is nothing in the texts to suggest that it is the men in the higher echalons of the Watchtower bible and tract society.Changing light is neither inspired nor discreet when it has resulted in mishandled sheep.

1 Peter 4:10:As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of Gods varied grace

Hmm..doesn't sound like any Christian is excluded from stewardship.

The WT obviously made up what they say it is to have an excuse for a few men in NY to control millions of peoples' thinking & to have great authority over them.I'm not suggesting these men know any better.I think they're as deceived as the rank and file JW's and actually believe God is using them no matter how many times it's been proven He isn't.God allows an operation of error to overcome people who don't listen to His Son.

  • Hi There,howdytheresir,

My Dear Young Lady, you've certainly done some fabulous homework. You know, it was the hardest thing that I have ever done in my life,,,and that was to walk away. I'm not a disgruntled former JW...far from it. I just couldn't believe tht my babtism was to the WTBTS and not solely to Jehovah & Christ Jesus. Paul said, "WHO CAN SEPERATE us from the love of Christ?" Rom 8:35

Keep up the fine work my sister.1Tim 6:18 &19.

    Reiko

  • @MYMANREIKOO I appreciate the encouragement! It's never easy to walk away from the WT..which is one reason the WT is so dangerous.I think it's wonderful that you recognized the danger of being baptized into an "organization",knowing that allegiance to anyone but God and his Son in such a manner is not right.Stay encouraged and close to God.:)

  • all religions and governments start out as a cults[sub groups and parties]... it creates culture.faithful channel-those who teach[teachers:christ class] the group, the nation ,the family. hindi.Eygpt arab, europian, catholic, latin. roman, christians bapists, mormons, national ,social and family groups. group'-feed source'...your word. who taught you?

  • @donsuave2010 When I was a kid,I got info from many varying sources and went to many different churches. When I got older,I let the WT teach me.Now I let Christ.

  • Ok tell the Truth have You even Read Pastor Russell Writings? he never claimed to be a Prophet. Unlike Joseph Rutherford. So have You read the Great Hymn of Aten? it is Palms 103 Written By Mosses. he changed Egypt’s Religion to Monotheism YHWH? and Built a Temple to the "Grand Creator" and depicted Him as the SUN! Brother Russell was searching for Bible Truth. there was No Internet back then, You had to Read, what did the Templers found under the Temple Mound? Masons using tetragrammaton?

  • @OneLoveFaith Yes,he was searching for bible truth. And he brought a LOT of peculiar things to the mix.Sorry you can't see that. You're defending him like I used to defend the WT society.Trust in Yahuwah and his Son alone.Stop looking at men who have done some crazy things as your trustworthy guides. Why are you defending this man voraciously? Are you in some kind of movement where he's held up as some faultless saint?Be careful.

  • @OneLoveFaith Interesting you should bring up Pastor Russell's writings. I have read some of his old writings. I found this of particular interest. Charles Taze Russell, himself said, "A new view of truth never can contradict a former truth. "New Light" never extinguishes older "light" but adds to it," (Zion's Watch Tower, February 1881, p. 188).

  • like a giant squid on the face of humanity = watchtower

  • @OneLoveFaith btw,I'm not questioning Russell's love for the bible or God or his desire to understand them.Just think there were a lot of peculiar things he brought to the mix.

  • @OneLoveFaith There's no point in trying to reason because you seem to be blind to much of Russell's activities. When someone writes books and says you can't understand the bible without them and gathers followers,I personally call that a sect. That giant pyramid meant what exactly?Jehovah's great stone witness with a knights templar cross and crown?Have you researched Enochian magic in relation to the names of the WT and Golden Age?Really,I could go on here.
