As Bradley suggested in Secrets and Magic, a selection of action scenes to You're the Voice by John Farnham.

I say action, a few others slipped in as they were just too good not to! I had to resist throwing in clips of them singing along.

I'm stunned nobody had done this yet to be honest. Hope people enjoy.

All clips from Merlin series 2 which is on the lovely BBC.

  • who else sang along? come on i know your out there hahaha.

    cool vid. yupup

  • Thanks. :) And never mind singing, who else did the actions?

  • It's perfect for action scenes. Slow enough to be a counterpoint to the movement, and the words are wonderful. The only small problem I see is that there are no guns in Camelot, otherwise it's word-perfect. I can totally understand why Bradley suggested it. Good taste, that man.

  • He does have good taste. I thought it was an odd choice for an action song as it's a song about peace not war, fighting, and action.

  • In the first chorus, I expected Bradley to say "3, 2, 1" and then Colin and him would start singing!!

I love this song now because of that, and i hope Bradley watched this because it was good!!

  • Thanks. :) And I hope he doesn't or that would be more then a bit embarrassing!!!

  • This is a brilliant song to an excellent song :)

  • Okay, I am officially in love with this show and all its cast and crew. Arthur totally took me by surprise by becoming my far and away favorite character. :) Oh, and by the way? This video is EPIC. As are you for making it. :) And yeah, I sang along and did the actions! Wouldn't be a Merlin fan if I didn't. ;)

  • guilty XD

  • Really? I see it as a song about war and violence, but mourning its existance instead of celebrating it. It makes the montage sort of bittersweet, and the real violence in Merlin is not portrayed as something awesome and admirable. It fits with the show's themes.

Still, I do see your point.

  • um that would also be me lol again cool vid. gets even better each time i watch it. fact
