this is the only 1940 tube on the turnpike that was not finished from the SPR(mid 1800's), because that tube was slated structurally deficient.

they are thinking about triplizing this set of tunnels because the W.B. tube is deteriorating.

Those florescent lights in the tunnel make me laugh for some reason (I've been through this tunnel many times myself)

I miss those old fluorescent tubes. I drove through it a few months back to find that they just HAD to put those stupid, too-bright, glaring sodium bulbs in to replace them...WtG PTC! :rolls eyes:
