In case you are wondering why I have put "Bird" in the main title,with my friend, Sheila.It's really quite simple...when she does one of her HIP interpretations of "Scrapple From the Apple"..it puts Bird "in the frame" each time.OF COURSE ,he will ALWAYS be in the frame. !! This wonderful gig it ,such an excellent example of the dialogue that may be achieved,when you have a singer of Shelia's talent & experience with such a sympathic bassist as Cameron Brown..it's musically like telepathy between them.I 'm fortunate insofar,that I have this complete session,which lasts for 87 mins.Shelia was - she is,naturally, the final judge -happy with this,when I sent it to her.From the private collection of Colin Kellam...go & visit Shelia @:www.sheliajordan.com...then if you want plenty of info : ref the "Boppers"..come over to me @:
