  • Excellent run!

  • Thanks. Retired now. Miss it some.

  • i have a standard poodle who LOVES s\doing this but he is 7 months old and we jump a lot wil that hurt his bones?

  • Some agility training can be appropriate for young puppies; this includes tunnel work, jumps lower than elbow height, and basic control training. Serious jumping and weaving work should be put off entirely until the puppy is much older. Only begin intensive agility training when the dog is past the age at which the 'growth plates' are known to typically close. A very imprecise guideline for growth plate closure would be 10-14 months for dogs over 50 pounds.

  • I have a standard puppy and want to train her in agility. Thanks for sharing.

  • They're great dogs- enjoy!

  • That was lovely!

  • My standard loves to jump, she can jump so high and so far. Poodles have such long legs and smart brains. They are perfect for agility. Peace Love Poodles!

  • We love poodles. Our standard poodle Bobbie also enjoys agility.

  • I am considering agility training for my standard. Great video. It really shows that poodles are naturals for the sport!
