Re-Volt is a first-person shooter for iPhone developed by Canadian firm IUGO. It uses tilting to move your character, with touchscreen-based shooting. Nice.

Wow... this was back when there were no real FPS games on the iPhone... it seems the project died though. So many awesome FPS's came out in the meantime and just put this one to shame.

1) for me fps on iphone is like fucking on broken glass.

theres a kinda good fps for iphone/ipod called "iFPS online"

i like it cuz you can play online mutiplayer

Try playing "Prey" for the iphone or itouch. It is a first person shooter similar to the one released for the XBOX 360. It is a very 1st person shooter with the virtual on-screen analog stick. You shoot by clicking at the aliens you want to kill. Best iphone graphics available.

If you want a good FPS for the iPhone enjoy Black Shades. Really fun game but is kinda hard to control. Terminator Salvation came out for the iPhone and that looks good. Also, try Top Gun.
