    Winner today at NSW championships australia, not only school boy but u21 was only a 6:03 with no wind at all on olympic course

  • the australians tend to row better than anyone in head winds

  • yeah they had a massive head wind. Keep in mind the world record is 5.19 for Mens Heavy Weight.

    My U/17 crew did a 5.44 once. 5.59 is pretty standard

  • My crew pulled a 5:59 at best on open river, U17 crew. school boys.

  • oh i bet that hurt. a 6:05 race with their fitness. God that must've felt long
