Let's put it this way, Nowdays, all over the world is influenced by the westerner. We wear jeans, we have toilet, we have cars, electricity, and etc. So is Modern China built by westerner or are they influenced? Japanese same thing. Modern Japan was built by westerner or are they influenced?

@cspark809 Its natural that Korea couldnt have emperors cos Korea was a vassal of China.You cannot understand the difference between king and emperor.And Korea unlike other southeast asian had sent hundreds of Kisaengs (prostitute) and eunuchs for 1,000 years since Silla`s era.In addition,ancient Korea was built by Chinese.I dont say koreans are chinese though.

@hahahaho2 That's not quite true. Every nation only teaches the history the government seems fit. The US history curriculum completely neglects US colonial times & annexations. The Japanese history neglects World War II crimes, Germans don't teach about their colonial period. The English upto this day believe their colonial policies were a gift to mankind. You'll find weird, unfitting, irrational parts in the history books of all nations.

Korea was kingdom and China was empire. If you had history lesson you should have understand how this system works. Korea peninsula was hugely influenced by chinese literator, philosophy,and etc. Pretty much all the southeast asian countries were influenced.

Korean were influenced, that doesn't mean koreans are chinese.
