Information can also be found by adding Alabama Roadracing as a friend on Facebook. We've been running karts here for over 25 years. My first race even occured at this track in back in 1987. This video is from the Unlimted class. A difficult start on Saturday so we moved it onto the front straight on Sunday. Judging from my data, we get about up to about 104 mph at this track turning 16,600 rpm. This event has always just been a fun local event for us to gather local kart racers as well as national racers to just hang out and have a good time and hope that a race might break out. For those who were in attendance, thanks for attending. For those who weren't, you need to be here next time.

Video as taken from the Alabama Kartoberfest kart race held by the Alabama Roadracing (with a little help from the Big South Series) as our annual event at TGPR (Talladega Gran Prix Raceway) in 2010. We ran the course coounter clockwise at our event this year as we usually do. The class being filmed is Unlimited with a B-Stock, an enduro laydown style go kart with two 100cc engines. Each engine is mounted on the side near the driver's shoulders. Karting road race events are held much like other roadrace series events both domestic and worldwide in that they are endurance timed events. Ours, in this instance, are 30 minutes in length.

I ran a kt100 on sat race it scard the shit out of me i will never run a asphalt big track again!!! But good driving in this video man!
