I read in a pamphlet at my local pet shop saying that budgies shouldn't be fed any bread and anything that humans can eat besides some fruit and veggies...PLEASE HELP!

It is astonishing and sad how poor much of the grammar is in many of these posts; also, I am alarmed at how ignorant some people are about budgies and their behavior. Perhaps, there should be a test requirement before one is allowed to submit a post on youtube. That would be a modern form of editing, indeed!

@itsaidhi hence did you know that the green parakeets are the original color for parakeets, every other color were lab created. my first parakeet when i was five was also green, now i have a blue one and a yellow one. but gotta get that green one.

my birds always loved eggs, even lots of fruit. My old bird Simba loved bananas but hated how the banana got on his beak. lol

Not as bad as the frenzies we have in our yard at the feeders, but impressive nonetheless... What exactly is this "eggfood"? Is it a kind of bird "feed"? (Our budgie feed is based on eggs, but doesn't look like this exactly; has little bits of dehydrated veggies and fruits in it as well.)

It's just dehydrated egg, seed and bread really. I buy a box at the pet shop, the make is CeDe. You can make it fresh by boiling eggs and mashing them up with breadcrumbs or carrots. Mine love that too ;)
