Lei favolosa come sempre.. ma il tenore......è un tenorino da elisir con problemi tecnici che non regge la parte....dovrebbe cantare elisir e barbiere non trovatore!!!!

Of the many roles Verrett made her own, she said that Azucena was a perfect fit. No question she was right!

I had the pleasure of hearing Verrett's Azucena in her belated debut at Lyric Opera of Chicago in the late 80s. She was absolutely fabulous.
