How to win the circumcision debate

Fun fact, even though uncircumcised men are at a slightly higher risk for things such as penile cancer, according to the 2012 Facts and Figures report by the American Cancer Society, men are at greater risk for breast cancer (2,190 reported cases) than they were for penile cancer (1,570) Yet we never hear of people wanting to remove the breast muscles from children because they might get cancer in old age.

Further notes, even though circumcision is a tradition in many Muslim homes, there is no passage in the Qu'ran that I can find that mentions it. It is essentially tradition for them.

And I believe it has to be every woman´s own choice what´s happening with her body.

Nope, a BABY is already born...unborn "babies" are called fetuses or embryos.

Sometimes it´s better for the mother AND the child to abort.

Imagine a 13yo girl who got impregnated during a rape, you simply cannot force her to carry out that child forcing her to change her life completely and permanently...maybe she will hate that child forever as it reminds her of that rape everyday for the rest of her life.

the WHO is using circumcision as a part of their program in africa in reducing HIV/AIDS.

As for the argument of it reduces sexual pleasure due to less nerve endings, based on what we know from research on how damaged nerves can be strengthened (the reason why rehabilitation robotics works) the jury is still out on that one.

further more, it's becoming much more common practice to use anesthesia for circumcisions, so the pain argument has less and less weight every year
