Mega Man X Playthrough Part 2/10

Read this first!! This is just a casual, average joe's playthrough of Mega Man X for SNES. I wasn't aiming for perfection, like getting through the entire game without ever getting hit or dying (I died quite a few times throughout the whole playthrough, but since it's not very fascinating to watch someone die in a video game as many times as I did, I edited out all the deaths). I also didn't attempt to collect every Heart Tank, or get the Hadoken Fireball. I was just playing through the game for fun. That said, this may help those of you who are stumped on how to defeat a certain boss, find a certain upgrade, or get through a certain stage.

In Part 2 of this video series, I venture through Flame Mammoth and Storm Eagle's stages, picking up a couple heart tanks and sub tanks along the way.

This video uses annotations for text commentary. If you wish to turn off the annotations you can click the button to the right of the Full Screen button, though I must recommend you keep the turned on since they fully explain what's going on in the game.

There's a hidden secret (think it's a life) behind those gas canister things, you need to repeatedly shoot them for like ten minutes before they blow up though. :P Flame thrower makes it easier.

Also, why aren't you exploiting the boss' weaknesses?

Excellent Walkthrough!!! Thanks god you put those text boxes, they are helpfull. I really hate when people doing a walkthrough talks and talks when i just wanna enjoy the game and its music (storm eagle's stage theme is my favourite)

Just a quick tip: you can dash pushing the dash button (look at the option menu), I put that dash button on the L button of the controller so with R I change the weapon. The dash can be used whit the wall jump to further jump distance! :D

@ModernDayReview88 Mega Man X will always be my #1 MM game, for being the first game i played on snes. MM2 is my 2nd fav MM game, half for the awesome music, half for the nostalgia :)
