This recording is definitely one for the hard-core Doors collector

  • Definetely The Doors... Thats Jim's voice and Ray's G101 organ... This makes me sad yet nostalgic at the same time.. I was born in the wrong generation.

  • @kruz1975 I talk to Jim every Friday night. Rock on!

  • awesome

  • I saw the Doors twice. In early 1968 they were great. In the middle of 1969 Morrison was a pitiful drunk. Couldn't stand up on stage. Even his bandmates were disgusted.

  • toobad it doesn't sound better

  • Jim morrison has achieved what no man can ever do. He has achieved MYTHICAL status. What legends are made of RIP jim.............................

  • I was lucky enough to be in my twenties when Jim and the Doors were recording and playing tours and recall all the contoversy. Despite serving in the US Air Force I loved the rebellious ways of Morrison and am sure many didn,t understand his message. Jim died young because he wanted to and the world was a mess then. Has it changed much now? I think not, but what a waste of a magical talent and voice. Thank God his music is there for all to hear!

  • @Haiddsalami there are Amazing cities filled with amazing people & amazing music all over the world.

NY city, Denver CO, Toronto Canada, L.A., London England...the list goes on & on

They all have great music scenes & hefty tie-dyed laid-back populations.

All you need to do is pick one & then get your self out there by hook or by crook!

I even think they still have rooftops alongside Venice beach if your interested

good luck & make it happen brother!

  • @RayManzarekGod

well.. ignorance is bliss i guess..

  • @RayManzarekGod break on through to the richard berry side

  • @Haiddsalami I still think overall it would've been AWESOME to live back then, instead of societys reliance on technology, horrible saturation of the media and culture, and overall lameness compared to back then...

  • @darlingdino Hey! 36 is still young! But damn, I still wish I could've gone back and been born in '46 or '47....
