This rendition of Gary Brooker singing "A Whiter Shade of Pale" was recorded at Guildford Cathedral during a charity event for the victims of the Tsunami.
Great song , but I am sure that Guilford Cathedral has an organ! Couldn't they fing an organist? Can anyone ever explain to Brooker that it is NOT a piano song? Even Dave Lanz in his beautiful version invited Matthew Fisher to play solo organ.......
I saw Garry Brooker in 1998 with P.Frampton,J.Bruce and Ringo Star(All Stars). What a magic moment. This is one the best balad of all the time.
