Girlie Gadgets by Crazyfunbabe was excited to catch up with Nic Wilson, Marketing Specialist of BodyMedia Inc. at ShowStoppers CES 2012. Ever since we interviewed Nic about the science and system of BodyMedia Fit at CES 2011 we have been intrigued. January or not, it seems like our days are consumed with trying to exercise, trying to eat right and wondering why it takes so long for any major changes in our body to really happen.

Well, if gazing at fit Nic Wilson is any indication of how BodyMedia Fit works, we want on board! According to BodyMedia, weight loss attempts can fail not because of lack of will power but because of lack of information. We don't all burn calories the same so a cookie cutter weight loss program isn't right for all of us.

With its armband that automatically captures data, BodyMedia Fit assures us that its last 10 years of scientific studies show that its technology is accurate and delivers the results we are looking for. We're listening....

The armband which you wear day and night, captures data and with an online Activity Manager analyzes that data, allows you to log what you are eating everyday and present it back to you in an easy to understand format.

Jillian Michaels, the fitness guru formerly of The Biggest Loser is a big fan and we know that girl knows a thing or two about fitness.

Three models; CORE Armband uses a USB cord to upload your data online for you to view, LINK Armband is enabled with Bluetooth wireless so it sense info by communicating directly with your smartphone to provide real-time caloric burn data and Armband Advantage also monitors your sleep patterns. With the LINK model mobile app, you can log food and see your calorie balance. The app also helps you to create personalized workouts based on your caloric intake, activity and step targets.

Now we could bore you will how the technology works but we know that all a Crazyfunbabe wants to know is where you can get your pretty little hands on one! We see BodyMedia Fit Armbands that start at $ 149.00 to approx $ 179.00 are available at retailers such as Coscto, Best Buy and Target or you can purchase online www.bodymedia.com
