It is highly probable and logical due to other tests which indicated presence of contaminates that Dragon would then be responsible for contribution of contaminates and or toxic elements being deposited into the Aquifers and transported via that route to Private Well Water sources for many residents of several towns behind Dragon's property boundaries from the piles of manufacturing waste and other plant emission sources. Please see the Town of Thomaston's Land Use Ordinance: http://town.thomaston.me.us/ Once there, click on "DOC" not PDF, and look for Article II Section 716.14 "Water Quality". (According to a former employee)It was mentioned to me there was "burying" of 55 gallon drums which "may" have "contained some kind of chemical" So I was informed in 2004 or 2005. This individual (who has asked me not to identify him)told me that an "older, retired, employee working at night was a witness to the dumping of dozens if not hundreds of these 55 gallon drums which were believed to have contained waste chemicals." I was shocked with what I had just heard, and then asked him where they may have been dumped? I was told by this individual that from what was known " The drums were either dumped in the CKD quarry or the "other" quarry behind the plant."
At that point in time I was unaware the CKD pile was actually sitting deep (possibly over 120 feet deep)in an unlined quarry. That was an eye-opener, and it is reasonable to conclude from what was described to me by this individual (I do know this person)that there was no reason to be fabricating what I was told. In fact, this individual mentioned that "there are a lot of other things which would take place at night time which no one really knows about." That aspect of this facility is very disturbing. Especially IF these containers were deliberately dumped in order to avoid appropriate/safe disposal which is known to be costly.
From what I have personally seen, video taped, photographed (like the Yellow Leachate oozing down the front side of a rock face just forward of the "clinker storage shed", and Dragon's "environmental management" pretending they were not aware of it, or ignoring it (when they work right in front of where I took the photo), is just another indication that there is more likely than not, [other] "instances" similar which they have knowledge about, and don't want anyone else to find out.

If there is anyone who has information regarding the improper disposal of chemical waste, or any other "waste" products, I would kindly ask that you do what is right and inform me via a comment on this specific video. Should this actually be found to be true, which I would be surprised to find otherwise, the only realistic way to prove the existance of such activity would be to completely EXCAVATE the CKD pile, and then LINE it, like the EPA recommends anyway.
Another common sense proposal is to drill a CENTRAL HOLE to the very BOTTOM of the quarry in which the CKD is sitting and TEST the substance at the center bottom which could be related to a "BULLS EYE". I am very familiar with water testing, as I WORKED IN A WATER CONTROL LABORATORY, COLLECTING AND TESTING WATER SAMPLES.
The surrounding "test wells" aren't enough. These "test wells" don't indicate whether any contamination is reaching private residential well water BEFORE it is FILTERED and exiting the tap where most people take thier samples from to have tested. The well water SHOULD BE TESTED PRE-FILTRATION as the carbon in the filters only absorb so much of the harmful contaminants and once the carbon has reached it's effective use, the contaminates merely pass right over the toxic filled carbon particles.

Therefore, I highly recommended that Well Water users mark the install date, and frequently check your carbon/sediment water filters and keep them up to date. That is extremely important for your health, and especially for developing children and pregnant women, if you drink the water out of your tap or even use it for cooking purposes. Mercury, and lead along with other toxic elements do not "boil" out of your water. Certain elements like these are extremely harmful even in very tiny amounts. They accumulate in the human body, over time, leading to multiple health issues according to well documented studies.

I highly respect the privacy of individuals, and would never identify anyone against their will. Identification would only be made upon written approval of the informing party.
Your cooperation would benefit people who do not have public water supply and who only have wells to supply their homes with water. It would also, obviously, benefit the environment and the diverse wildlife here, and quite possibly for miles from this location.
Your help would be deeply appreciated, and it would be the right thing to do.

  • Water wells should be clean barring industrial complexes.

  • You are so dumb. The worst thing is your using your stupidity to hurt others.

  • Shouldn't you test at least a small sample of water before posting this video. What if one of your neighbors was trying to sell there home. The potential buyer finds your video and your neighbor can't figure out why no one wants to buy there home. Your not hurting the cement company with this your hurting your neighbors. It is high probable too before I buy a house I search everything I can find about the neighborhood OH FYI foam in water is normal.
