At the moment it's starting to look unlikely, sadly. :( We should know more soonish but it's starting to look that way... :(

We have Splot coming up soon-ish for iOS/Android and then later for computers, and if Trine 2: DC launches well on Wii U then Splot is a good candidate too, and maybe some other consoles... After that we will focus on our next big project and we don't know the platforms yet. :)

We will continue on our chosen path and work on games of a scope and size that we are comfortable with... We're not going to do an MMO or such because that's just too big, but an RPG with a clear focus would not be out of reach. We have some concepts... so who knows what happens. :)

When he says "Still waiting for the non-Steam version..." he's referring to the DLC, because he already has the game on console.

So to answer your question, what is wrong with the steam version is that he already has the console version and buying the DLC for steam would be pointless when he has the game on console.
