Thank you, Djehuty, for your very clear, coherent statement. You are a voice of sanity in a world that has lost its ability to reason. Yes, it is done to infants & children because they are powerless. Circumcision is bullying... big people hold down and cut little people. Some doctors, when polled, have said they would cut for free - we need to consider the mental health of genital cutters. I call it "rape" - regardless of gender. A WASP female, I was circumcised in the USA in the 1950s.

We are here on planet earth to clear the fear we have accumulated from lifetimes. It shows in our bodies, as you say, Djehuty. It also shows in twisted ways of thinking. It is all fear.

The word "EVIL" is "LIVE" spelled backwards. I believe there is no more effective way to contract the life force than through fear. Fear makes it difficult to breathe. "Spirit" means "breath". To throw a child into a pit of terror by circumcising him - or her - is opposite to the purpose of life.

@suseyblue1 Thank you for your feedback. In fact the ATROCITY of [infant / unconsented/ forceful] circumcision is downplayed and trans-figured through the alleged, "mysterious" "divine" benefits.

The core of this all is IMHO the covenant thing IOW that G-D said to Abra[ha]m "no do not kill him just cut off a little piece" - and how many people is there that actually STILL call it an abomination? Therefore I say it is a touchy issue. I touches the core of the belief in the Abrahamic G-D.

Its 'mysterious divinity' is no more mysterious or divine to unbrainwashed people than Mayans removing hearts from living victims. It's an error to grant to the act of vivisection the same hoodoo as its religious proponents. They might feel a sense of the numinous while cutting or sucking a child's sex organs, but we must not.

that's so true i dated a guy who was not and jokingly made a suggestion he get Circumcised and he looked at me like i was absolutely crazy.
