The road points are preplaced on the map, however they work like any data structure and could eaily be made for any other map. They could be loaded in via scripting, so no map changes would be required. However all the AI does is order vehicles with the cellphone (if allowed), fight players (if it doesn’t like the player), take vehicles (if allowed that are left unoccupied), and use set weapons in certain situations.
In other words, the AI wouldn’t be smart enough to repair buildings, purchase vehicles/new characters from a purchase terminal, or forum any truly amazing tactics like one would like to see in a standard C&C game. Not saying I couldn’t do it, however Roleplay2 is the main focus and aim for the AI currently and I don’t expect to change that anytime soon.
