The Guardian Dual Check® Hydrant Demonstration

The Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co.® Guardian Dual Check® Hydrant (5619) and Stainless Steel Box with Integral Vacuum Breaker is ASSE 1052 approved. It has a quarter-turn feature that allows for a full flow of water with a quarter turn of the ergonomically designed wheel handle or "T" handle key. The hydrant features an integral vacuum breaker and dual check valve that provide positive non-freeze protection where water is required at the outside of the building.
The stainless steel recessed box (5519) conceals the nozzle and operating mechanism. The locking cover prevents unauthorized use.
