in the middle ages the Macedonia missionairy St Cyril took a form of the ALEXANDRIAN alphabet to the Bulgarians and others he also took ALEXANDRIAN as a common language to them as well. These people added there own words to that but the core was always ALEXANDRIAN.

you take words like "Mycinian" and "Hellas, Hellenic" and very wrongly automatically translate to the word "GREEK".

The terms "greece" and "greek" are modern day terms. those words did not exist until the 1830sAD.

oh and the term "Ancient "greece" was also invented at the same time again just for you the 1830s AD...

nobody would say "ancient greece actually existed EVEN THEN.

DNA tests, carried out by the Swiss institute IGENIA, confirms that the ancient Macedonians and "greeks" were NOT even of the same race...

These same tests clearly show that the modern "greeks" have less than 5percent in common with ancient "greeks"...

and the best part of all is that the modern and ancient Macedonians enjoy a 70percent DNA match...

You see my Pontusian clown Mt Olympus is and allways was in Macedonia and yes they were well and truly Hellenic gods in the TRUE historical meaning of the word.

The only contempory histories we have of the Macedonians languge was the Philepics in which the author clearly states the Macedonians did not speak "greek".
