I guarantee his daughter will certainly never forget that time spent together with her dad making this duct tape trailer just for fun to see if they could.

I got your point. Might seem strange but it was fun family time. One question. How well did it hold up?

@70clint Held up just fine. Had great weather for camping. Had to disassemble it for winter though.

Uh, Like, Uh, you can BUY a used camper for a couple hundred bucks, probably what you spent on duct tape and PVC which is not cheap. Some people even give them away on this thing called "CRAIGSLIST". You should check it out next time you want to spend $800 to build something out of items you found in the Walmart Clearance Section that you could have bought for $200. Happy Time Wasting!

@kellyhofmann Yeah, you're right. It was just a big waste of time. PVC and duct tape are so expensive. We should have thought harder and just bought something, and then we wouldn't have had to spend all that time together. Thanks for the feedback.

@scottcrevier I agree, but when you buy something already made, or even get it for free, it lacks that personal pride and the feeling you have when you know that you actually MADE something for yourself! DIY never fails anyone..even a duct tape trailer!

@bardlard I agree 100%. This is my video. I'm the one who made the camper with my daughter. My comment to @kellyhofmann was a bit on the sarcastic side. The duct tape cost us about $30 or $40. The PVC was less than $10. It was indeed cheap (definitely not $800). But as you said, the main thing was making it ourselves. And we had a lot of fun doing it. Thanks for the comment!
