My entry into Simierski character competition. In case you can't hear my voice, read below to read what I said.

Hi, Im James. I was named after James Holden, who was the Great Eastern Railway's CME when I was created in 1900. However, he was out of the country during my construction and completion, and Stratford Works Chief Draughtsman Frederick V. Russell was responsible for most of my design work. As you can tell I was built in the 1900s at the Stratford Works. The other 100 of my brothers and sisters were built between 1900 and 1911. While in my GER Royal Blue livery, I quickly won a gold medal at the 1900 Paris Exhibition. Out of all my family I was the only one given a name. When the LNER ordered my kind, we were classified as D14, D15, and D16. I was never built with a super heater, only the last 4 of my kind got those. That is Until LNER rebuilt all of my kind and gave us all super heaters. I was designed as an express passenger engine and can pull up to 400 tons. I was rebuilt with a Gresley boiler in 1933 and at which time I also was also given my overhaul. I was renumbered to 2500 and was withdrawn in May 1947. No. 62613 was the last of my kind to be withdrawn in September 1960 from March shed, sadly none survived into preservation. Well it was nice talking to you and telling you a little bit about myself. Anyways Im off to pull an express before everything I told you happens to me and the rest of my family.
