the alpine cda 7998 by far is the best car audio,the new ones are crap.and the kenwood 25 anniversary edition is one of the best.

@wirthparkskater i agree that kenwood head units are on top... not the rest of their car audio(amps subs etc) but i would do anything to get my kenwood or pioneer unit back. I have had two alpines now and neither one has been as good as mypioneer or kenwood.... and jl doesnt have any head units so they shouldnt have even been compared to kenwood

Alpine has been slipping... They used to be the shit 5 years ago, now kenwood is on top.

I agree.... I have the idax305 and there are bugs in it no sounds sometimes from the iphone when you plug it in sometimes.

Yaaaa... I'll keep my x100 thank you very much. touchscreen is nice, but way too much precise input needed while I'm driving.

You have to take into account how many songs/vids that it has to look at before it loads the screen. Of course there will be slight delays.

plus the guy using it doesnt really know what hes doing. theres certain ways you have to slide, not just click around randomly.
