  • What an awe-inspiring video. I am sometimes not sure what is more amazing - the Cheetah or Dr. Marker. I am very happy to know how much of a difference Laurie Marker has made to save my favourite animal on the planet. My humble thanks to Dr. Marker and ALL the CCF team who make impossible things happen!

  • Thank you so much for your kind words, and for your support! The cheetah needs all the help we, human beings, can give it to ensure its survival.

  • @ccfcheetah You welcome. I like the work you do for the cheetahs but I ate trophy hunting.

  • @ARTLKING Cheetahs are not killed for their fur, which is not very soft --it is rather coarse. Cheetahs suffer loss of habitat, which makes them come into conflict with humans; especially livestock farmers. CCF focuses on educating and training people to learn to live in harmony with cheetahs. Another problem is the illegal pet trade. Cheetah cubs are taken from the wild and sold as pets illegally. Thanks for your concern!

  • @ccfcheetah I love cheetahs. How could people kill such great animals for their fur ?

  • @tintin8ify - Thanks for your concern. Trophy hunting in Namibia is controlled by a quota system and it has been legal since 1992. Namibia strictly adheres to CITES, which allows trophy hunting to add to the value of the animal by allowing sustainable utilisation. When done legally and ethically, trophy hunting can generate very important revenue for an impoverished African continent. Namibia is the "cheetah capital" of the world, with the largest free-ranging population of cheetahs today.

  • @tintin8ify - First we need to ensure they have habitat and prey so they can survive. I can assure you everything is being done to conserve the Asiatic cheetah.

  • @tintin8ify - Hi! You will be happy to know that we are working with Iranian scientists and authorities for the conservation of the Asiatic cheetah.

  • thanks alot CCF!You've done such a great job!Im only a kid now but my dream job is to be a zoologist and come work with CCF.Why cheetahs, why are they the ones that have to go? But cheetah lovers all over will stop this im sure!

  • You are more than welcome. I contribute to CCF through various methods including sponsoring one of your Cheetah's - SOLO. Also by purchasing goods via your website. You folks are awesome and I can never get enough of Cheetahs.... I know there are others out there like me - so please do everything you can to help CCF with their mission. Every bit helps to save those beautiful creatures!
