the line art was good the color especially the hair and red parts are really weird looking

@TheFreakEssence in the photoshop layers pannel you can select the button next to the lock that says lock transparency and that will allow you to just color on your base coat, problem with that is that you have to stay on one layer but if you wanted to color on more than one layer then just highlight your base color layer and press n hold cntrl while clicking on the layer to make a selection of that area, then you can color on as many layers as you like.

how are you doint that your painting dosent effect other flaths than that you whant to color and how dosent they outline the ink? ( i was looking and you were useing Wand or lasso tool for that ) answer plz. :S

@detourr I notice your comment has been a month from now, but I'll tell you anyway lol. I think only some versions of photoshop where you can rotate the canvas such as CS4. I don't think any CS below CS4 have such feature.
