this race was abandoned when 3 fans got killed by debris from an accident. it happened again in 2011 when dan wheldon died in a hard 15-car wreck in las vegas that race was also abandoned

@LMCMInterloper No, Jack Arute work in 1999 for FOX/FSN/Speedvision. After FOX sell all races back to ESPN/ABC in 2000, Jack Arute came back to ESPN/ABC.
