King of Fighters 20xx ver 1.5 preview - Segata Sanshiro

KOF XX is a fighting game I am making for the UFGE engine featuring SNK characters and characters from other video games in SNK style. This is a preview for the next release, 1.5. The current release is 1.0 and can be found at http://maximoff.alreadyread.net/kowtf . Although Segata is not in that release, I will release his sprites as open source at http://maximoff.alreadyread.net/SpriteSheets .

Segata Sanshiro was a character created for a weird, but suprisingly successful Japanese ad campaign by Sega. Basically, he is a judo man who attacks people who don't play Sega Saturn. It's a bit hard to explain, but a good primer on Segara can be found at... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3lCF8O2N50 . Anyways, even though he's graphically just a head swap of Takuma from KOF, I think he came out pretty good. I included several attacks from his commercials, as well as some Sega games.

In the next release he will compose 1/2 of the Sega Revenge Squad. Keep on snooping as usual on this account to find out who his tag partner will be.

Thanks. Since I wanted to get the serious characters out of the way so I could work on more oddball ones. I know of at least two more meme inspired characters coming up that will be on the level of Segata and the King.
