Byron Katie talks openly to George Williams, founder of Inexcess Television about her life changing experience that led to the development of The Work. "I thought suicide and death where the only way out, my self esteem was so low I didn't believe I deserved a bed"
In this rare interview Katie shares her unique outlook on how we can challenge our thoughts and beliefs. "When I believed my thoughts, I suffered. When I challenged my thoughts, I didn't suffer-when your mind wakes up, everything shifts".
Katie and George also talk about dealing with addiction, guilt and shame and how we react when "we think these thoughts".

There is to ways to live witch such things. with a problem or without it. The thing happened so there is no reason to fight against because it is what it is.

  • @NYCw66 When something awful happens, people feel traumatized for months or years. The question is, how can they effectively move back to a place of feeling peace, feeling whole and complete instead of carrying that pain their whole lives. They can try to blame, or change laws, change other people's behavior etc, and that's great. but how can they put their pain at peace? What byron katie is saying is just one way and it's a way that works, in practice, not just in theory. it's the inner journey
