Supernatural - Angel of Mercy

oh i just love Castiel....but now about the video...lol
After being brought back from Hell, Dean know's he's not all there...he's broken and feeling a little alone. He's a lost soul and Castiel is his, for lack of a better term, guardian angel. Watching over him, saving him from Hell, trying to guide him along his way.

@ravn87 Well said. I can't help but get wrapped up in the intricacies and delicate balance of their bond and the way it's been everchanging since the beginning.

@ravn87 But the fast brotherhood couldn't be more evident, since things started unraveling literally right in front of their eyes almost from the get-go...and it was a perfect match. Dean being the loyal family-man brother, that knows love more than anyone w/out the responsibility of looking after a charge, and the angel, that's just lived w/ nothing but love and looking after charges all of his existence. This time Dean is the charge. Here's a lot to relate to.

Eachother's good natures, and willingness to follow what's good. Different worlds of different natures, so different behaviors to get used to. Cas being innocent, Dean being rebellious, everything they've ever known on both sides turned against them, and both die-hard insisting on following the ways thats been so faithful to them in the past, that don't apply anymore as the circumstances stand. So the conflict on changing themselves, and trusting in what they both perceive as untrustworthy.

It's not so much disdain from Dean, more as the conflict with both of them in choosing the right path to follow. Cas being very much on the righteous path with all it's limitations for the earth and unquestionable blind faith, and Dean seeing the flaws in following something so rigid with so little to go on. Plus the precept of perfection leading to the mistaken assumption that heaven was incorruptible, and finding out there's not a pre-built "guardrail" to follow...

I know this was 2 years ago, but.... I know EXACTLY how you feel. :) Not off of this video, but I can see the depth it portrays. But I'm no stranger to it. I how you have more scenarios like that.
