There are hacks available that allow you to play Valve/Steam games without having to connect to Big Brother. I stopped playing Steam games a long time ago. I don't even know if I still have the Stream/Valve hack. The internet is becoming more fascist every day. I just want to play a video game. I don't need some company scanning my computer to verify that I didn't steal anything from them, nor do I need to be totally dependent on corporations to give me permission to play a game that I BOUGHT.

Steam won't scan your Computer or do anything else harmful to it.
The Problem is if you uninstall Steam you wont be able to receive updates and DLC's. I would recommend you to use the "Simple Borderless Window " Modification from the skyrimnexus if you want to play it without Steam.

@CaptainJellico1701d You should try out some of the free games that are available by Steam, the best by far are Alien Swarm and Team Fortress 2, both made by Valve the creators of Steam.

@Kuchen90000 i like it now i know what all i can do with it is a lot of fun but i have not tried any of the free so far but thanks for leting me know and can u play skyrim without the cd useing stearm it lets me and thats i am not uninstalling it well thanks for watching
