Donna the Dead (animated prop)

Thought that I would share an animation of a "new toy" - created by Gemmy for 2007.

The concept - ghoul suspended from blue light projecting black bar by "fishing" line moving up and down is NOT new, actually I have been familiar with this type of product since 2002. The one that was available for sale then (and probably the subsequent two years) was a ghost face that moaned. Later versions, including ones on the market this year include witches and others, and to me, lost the effect that the original had.

The "Donna" face is on more than one product this current year, and does the job at looking eerie. That and the downright creepiness of the soundtrack, music and sfx, sold me on it. Very nice update of the product, and at $16, can't pass it up as part of the decor!

I have one just like and i have the floating grim reaper, this one floats up and down very smoothly but the grim reaper floats like crazy it bangs around inside the tube thing, it makes weird clanking noises, i think its broke.....

Yeah, that doesn't sound too good. At least if it is the one I am thinking of (which I have), it should be easy to find if you want to replace.

Number one - this model is more expensive this year than last. Number two, it's not that easy to find as opposed to other floating ghosts

I just got this one to replace the "Hooded scream mask" one. Much scarier - I have it hanging in my living room window which is right at the street. Passerby's love it!
