This is a poem of Molavi (Rumi) about Shams. Shams was his mystical and spiritual guide and coach. It's not religious but a description of the spiritual beauty of Shams that has made Molavi crazy and astonished.

@iiNDiTC Yes he was. I agree with you. He was born in Balkh Afghanistan. I have alot of relatives who are Sufis as well. My family is well versed with Mawlana. My grandma was born in his city.

This is a great song! The only book I took with me when I left Tehran in 1978 was "Shams e Tabrizi" and I still treasure it. we should be proud of being persian with such a rich culture.
