As Callas rightly stated, comparing Tebaldi and her was like comparing "champagne with conganc"! Both are delcious and to be savoured in their own right and own distinctive way. When they both had a mutual respect for the other lets stop with reduntant and ill concieved comparisons between the two shall we?

Unfortunately, the less-music savvy media wanted to create a controversy. They did not realize that Callas and Tebaldi were 2 different voices types with overlapping repertoire and so they made up a "rivalry" out of thin air. There should be no jealousy among musicians. Sad, stupid, and ultimately destructive.

Przynajmniej ja uwielbiam Tę Wielką, Nieprzeciętną Damę!!! Wszystkiego Dobrego dla Wszystkich, którzy chcą i mogą poświęcić tę jedyną chwilę dla siebie słuchając tak Pięknego Głosu! Truly, for M.me Callas was champagne and ...coca-cola, words without elegance and certainly too bad for Miss Tebaldi's magnificent voice and sensibility. What a sin!
