The S2K corners better but the 350Z is alot better on the straight. I would take the S2000 but i respect the way the Z handles that weight.

Remember you're talking about a 2L NA here running in the 7" range at Tsukuba on 050's by its final iteration, you should be ashamed a car with almost half the displacement is even capable of a faster lap time.

@TamanLinkin Ok, I found that video and sure enough, the S2000 had a faster best lap in that race. If you have a 91 NSX then you are retarded, because the S2000 comes from the same chief engineer, and sits linearly below the NSX in the ratio between weight-wheelbase and power-weight ratios - its basically a baby NSX as far as the relationship between engine output and chassis dimensions. So you are basically owning yourself.

s2000 is even gayer. search the z shock bm race. z beat the s2000 on it debut race. not to mention the stupid arrogant civic and s2000 owner and their stupid race story compared to the z guys which is nice chaps. i drive 1991 nsx btw... and i hate the civic and s2000 idiot. no doubt though that its handles way better than z. z is a heavy pig on it stock form

Don't these 350Z fangays have any shame? The 350Z was slower than a S2000 around Tsukuba in its debut despite being in the maxed out 280ps class with 3.5 freakin liters. It took refinements halfway through its production run to decisively defeat the fastest car (S2000) in the class below (sub-280) the one it belongs to. The FM platform was never designed from the ground up to be used in a sports car. That is why Tsuchiya, Kurosawa, and others hesitate to even call it a sports car.

Drove my friends S2k for a summer, was a cool car fast and handles very good. I was buying a new car and had the Honda and Nissan in my sights.Since I was familiar with the S2k I went a test drove the Z. I got em to take $5k off the car and drove it home that day. this is the best car I've ever had. It does everything so well and around town driving is a breeze with it's torque you don't even have to shift as much. Check out my page to see her, and most girls I meet start off with "nice car" !
