Long Way Down is a television series, book and DVD documenting a motorcycle journey undertaken by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, on which they rode south through 18 countries from John o' Groats in Scotland to Cape Agulhas in South Africa via Europe and Africa in 2007. It is a follow-up to the Long Way Round trip of 2004, when the pair rode east from London to New York via Eurasia and North America.

  • I liked the lady's comment. I am now Rawandan. Says it all really..

  • The church memorial really shows you just how bad the genocide was...makes you think. Makes it more real as opposed to just hearing about it on the news.

  • Considering Ewan comes from a country where 98% of the population's been unemployed since Braveheart finished filming I think Rawanda looks pretty good.

  • love what you've done with the place, mr. president

  • unfortunately, there are a lot of attacks on Christian missions in Africa, who are only helping give medical aid, free schooling etc under the disguise of ethnic cleansing and genocide to "cleanse" Africa of Christianity and then the U.N. comes in and seems like the only ones helping, but there 90%+ of the aid and charity in Africa is because of private Christian missions
