What If? Episode 6

HEY! I'm really sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been busy with school and friends. You know how it is! Anyways, I am like obsessed with this song A Little Too Not Over You! Its on the video. Now just think...Liz is the one singing about Joe. Ok??! Back with the story........!

*Liz's POV*
This was the worst thing that could happen.
"Oh, sorry. I was busy with some school stuff." Joe said as he backed away from me and went closer to Grace.
"Its fine. How about we go out now?" She asked, turning her back towards me.
"Um...yea. I guess," Joe said, turning his head to me,"You don't mind, do you Liz?"
I looked down, trying not to let him see how frustrated I was. "No, not at all. Go have fun."
He smiled. "Thanks." Grace grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
I trudged my way home, frustrated. I walked in and then I remembered my mom was away. I was home alone and who knows how long? There was a message on the answering machine. I pressed the button and listened:
"Hey sweetie. Its mom. Don't worry. I'm fine, its just your grandfather. He past away and I'll be here for a couple days to help gram. As you probably know now, Vicky is on a class trip so she won't be home. I called the Jonas house and you'll be staying there until I come back. Call me when you get this message. Bye."
Great. Just my luck. I have to stay with Joe. Whatever. I picked up the phone and dialed my mom's number. No answer. I'll try later. I dialed the Jonas house and Nick answered:
"Hello?"
"Hey Nick, Its Liz." I said while walking to my room.
"Oh, hey Liz. Whats going on?" He asked.
"Do you know I'm gonna be staying with you for a couple days?" I asked trying to pack up my things.
"Yea, I was just about to come get you when you called. You want me to get you?"
"No, its fine. I'll finish packing and I'll be there in like 10 minutes, ok?" I said, rummaging through my drawers.
"Yep. See you then. Bye." He said while hanging up. I hung up the phone and continued packing. When I finished I ran downstairs and grabbed my coat as I walked out the door and headed down the street. They lived only a few houses down so it didn't take me long to get there. I knocked on the door and Nick answered.
"Hey! Oh, I'll grab that for you!" He said while grabbing my bag.
"Oh, ok." I said as I walked in the house. "Where's your mom and dad?"
"Work. Its just me, you, and Kevin right now." He said as he dropped my stuff on the couch. I didn't hear Joe's name so I asked.
"Where's Joe?" Nick looked at me and looked back down like he didn't want to answer me. "Nick, where is he?"
Nick sighed and looked at me. "On a date."
I didn't have to ask who he was with. I already knew, Grace.
We both sat on the couch and sat there in silence for a few moments.
"Well......wanna play a game?" He asked.
"Eh....I guess. What game?" I replied.
He got up and brought down 3 games from the shelf and said, "Well, Monopoly, Sorry, and Life."
"How bout Sorry?" I said as I sat on the floor next to Nick.
"I'm good with that," he said as he opened the box.
We set it up and began playing. I was about to win when the front door swung open. Joe walked in smiling. He probably just got back from his date.
Both me and Nick looked up at him as he walked in and plopped himself on the couch.
"Hey Joe!" Nick said, picking a card a from the deck.
"Hey Nick," he said looking at him. "Oh, Liz, you're here too."
Wow. He didn't even notice me. "Yea. I'll be here for a while."
He looked at me, confused. "Huh?"
"My mom's gone, remember? I told you this morning when you picked me up." I said.
"Oh yea. That's cool. I gotta go make a call." He said as he walked off to his room.
I looked at the rug. "He didn't even notice me." I said, disappointed.
Nick put his arm over my shoulder and said, "I'll talk to him, ok? I don't know what he's doing."
"Thanks Nick. I think I'll go talk to him myself though," I said as I got up and walked to Joe's room. I heard him talking so I pressed my ear up to the door and listened.
"So, will you?" He asked someone in a hopeful voice.
It only took a secnd for the other person to respond cause he replied instintly. "Awesome! I guess I'll see you tomorrow Grace?" He said. "Ok. Bye!"
I felt like crying. He was going out with her. I thought, "But...but...but...WHY?!" There was no answer to that question though. I began to walk away but then Joe opened his door.
"Oh, hey Liz!" He said, standing in his doorway.
I didn't turn, I kept walking. "Hi," is all I said to him.
"Liz, whats wrong?" He said grabbing my arm.
I looked at him, with a blank expression. "You know perfectly well whats wrong."
He looked puzzled and answered, "What?"
"You know what, just don't talk to me." I said as I jerked my arm out of his grip and walked away.

I think nick and liz should get together you know it would make joe jealous but maybe they shouldn't be together for that reason but it is a perk lol and god joe is just such a jerk and i don't know what to think of grace i don't really trust her i think she is using joe and or is making liz jealous or something but idk it is amazing i can't wait for more!
