    And the reason chemotherapy usually stops working at some point is because the cancer cells develop a pump mechanism that spits the chemo out before it can affect it. That is, the cells that will die do and the ones that evolve to out smart the drug will survive. I'm not saying chemo is good, but I think you need to make accurate statements. Especially

    Also, what a silly statement to make that chemo "doesn't touch cells". The reason it's used is to stop the faster dividing cells from doing so as quickly. That includes cancer cells, hair cells, the lining of the GI tract etc, etc, Jo

    His incorrect about vitamin D. We don't tan for the sole reason of blocking vitamin D. Imelanin crowds around the nucleus of skin cells to protect DNA from UVA (which isnt even the wavelength responsible for vitamin D conversion!). UVA penetrates deeper and causes more damage, which is why we have evolved to tan. The fact that it also blocks vitamin D conversion is more about balance.
