Victoria is a wonderful state to live in, but it's hard to tell the difference between the old parties now. Your vote is powerful, and you do have a choice. This time, vote Green.
So even when you loose and have the greens moronic policies explained to you, you're still to brainwashed to see the bigger picture, or to have graciousness in defeat... hmmm Another brainwashed puppet that probably drives a car and eats meat and uses electricity and has an electric blanket and most likely spends 2 hours a day telling all how you're saving the planet by being green to you're braindead mates on facefuck. You're an uniformed shitstain with little to offer anyone. Go ride a bike
@Adirtybird actually the Greens vote increased, although only marginally, despite the swing to the conservative parties and the Libs dirty pref. deal. The Greens never had any lower house seats in Victoria so they didn't "lose" any seats loser. The Nationals gained a paltry 6% of the vote yet won seats. The Greens got 10% & won none. Doesn't seem very representative of how the state truly voted. Libs won by a whopping 1 seat meaning just under half the state hate them less than the other lot!!!
@Las3rGirl Yes we need renewable energy but at a managed pace, not knee jerk solutions like closing hazel wood immediately leaving 800 families without income. And their plans to stop all coal plants and mining will cripple our economy as it is our no1 export. We will not save our planet only china, USA, and Japan can do that. even if aust turns of all power now it will have only have a .002 % reduction in green house gasses.. You really need to look past the front page and learn a bit more.
@Las3rGirl Greens want to piss away money on retarded policies such as "Actively involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples in the development and implementation of climate change adaption and mitigation strategies and programs."
They want to take guns from our police. They constantly oppose back burning of bush area's, cause of much of the death on black sat as the fire trails were burning.
They will ban recreational fishing. Not to mention they believe in MMGW.
Greens have already made it illegal to hike or even walk your dog (on a leash!) in many regional bushlands and beaches.
Greens want to ban coal, which accounts for a quarter of our nation’s exports and have various other completely unrealistically idealist aims that would cripple Australia's economy.
@Adirtybird what a load of crap! cripple our economy! lol. Investing in renewable energy will produce 1000s more jobs and at the same time save our planet so we can still breathe here! people always go on about The Green's radical policies - well, name them! If radical is investing in proper Public Transport then I'm all for it.
I like most of their policies, but they're horribly deluded about climate change. They should base their campaign on REAL threats to our health and environment like water fluoridation & GMO's.
Please people dont vote for the greens....I understand that they look all nice and green friendly but rest assured they will cripple our economy and our way of life. Go to their web site and read all of their policies and you will see how they really have no idea about what we need as a nation.

Sure try these.
Greens essentially oppose detaining illegal refugees.
