The re-make ia turd, plain and simple. No Robert Englund , no Freddy, it used far too many cheap jump shock tactics because the director didn't know how to make it scary. I also didn't like the way it made Freddy out to be a kiddy fiddler when he wasn't in the original.

ok ill admite the remake wasent that good i agree with robert the jackie and clancy are very good actors but everybody else felt so flat and boreing and one dimentional id like to see more depth of these characters so if your gonna do a remake do the following 1 make sure to hier people who can fucking act 2 better writing 3 better fucking character development theres so meny half assed horror movies today id like to see 1 have alot of depth to it like the original jeepers creepers

I was terrified as a kid of Freddy.... but I have to say, I really want to meet Englund still. Seems like such an awesome guy.
