"So Schlaf in Ruh" (1838) was performed as part of the concert "Mendelssohn: Lost Treasures and the Wagner Suppression," presented at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City on January 28, 2009. The program featured 13 world premieres discovered by The Mendelssohn Project, whose artistic director is Stephen Somary. "O Schlaf in Ruh" was performed by Abigail Nims, mezzo-soprano; Kevin Deas, bass; and Anna Polansky, piano. Stephen Vann was the artistic producer.
