It is not as thin as a Ibanez or a Jackson, of course, but it is thinner than Les Paul, Epiphones or Fenders, and I feel comfortable with it.
My previous guitar was a Jackson, and the neck was really fast and thin. I did not find the change to Washburn to be very noticeable, although it is thicker.

yes it is. In fact, y usually play heavy metal and it sounds great. When the VCC wheel is turned to the "hambucker" sound position, you get quite a good typical Gibson sound.
