  • @happyrose82 I think it's great exercise, the haters are offended because some men (or women) can't stay faithful and have in some way offended or hurt their significant others because of the "strip club scene" not to be confused with plain pole dancing/exercising. I think pole dancing is really neat.

  • I guess I can't do that on carpet. i think mayb i should takeup ballet lessons, cause if i do that at my size (200lbs of fun) I may be on crutches for a while. But it looks so smooth though!

  • i totally got ripped off and bought "pole dancing" lessons from pole dance school (all one word) dot com. After they charged my credit card they sent me a password to their site which led me to you tube videos, this one included. Its a great vid and quite helpful but when everyone else is getting it free and I'm paying $50.... needless to say i feel like an idiot but i don't want anyone else to get scammed by these "pole dance school" people so HEADS UP LADIES!!!

  • very helpful instructions

  • pole dancing has been the best exercise ever! I am more ripped and muscular than I ever was! I bought the x-pole expert and the mighty grip and it's been wonderful! cheers to all you pole fitness junkies!!!

  • Pole dancing is amazing fitness work out im not a dancer on stage nor will I ever be, cause im not comfortable with it but I have nothing bad to say about them my best friend friends sister use to be and she was the nicest person ever and plus she had 3 kids all from the same person married for 10 years. So just cause theres a few sluty, stripper out there doesnt mean they are all like that, it just means there proud of there bodys. and why should they be they work out like crazy.

  • yes i think they do, and also abs, but shouldnt really try wit shoes on unless u can invert properly etc, once u can do all ur leg lifts etc wit shoes on :) u dont have to have massive ones, even just practice ball room shoes will do, i have a norm pair and some pleasers my pleasers are higher yet they rnt as heavy so i tend to use my heavier ones for conditioning

  • @Rlsheck Do they help with leg strength is that why some wear shoes? Just curious to know if it does as you say it helps with strength :)

  • shoes help with strength

  • not all pole studios r like that, but everyone does have to start at beginner one, unless of course ur strong as f*** and can hold ur own body weight plus! good on them for getting into it, as for not teaching any moves our studio beg 1 and 2 r all spins, which r important for helping u gain upper body stregnth sounds like u paid money to learn at a strip club
