the game is very fun but it hurts your hand after a few minutes and I left my copy about 2000 miles from home so I can't play it anymore

With this game is it only aucoustic or can it have electric guitar too? I read about it and it doesn't talk about electric guitar which sucks ass if you ask me.

Yes, there is a small selection of effects that you can fiddle with to get a fairly decent electric sound.

an electric guitar is a thing, a distorted guitar is another.
You're probably talking about distorted guitar. In Jam Sessions you can use a distortion with the acoustic guitar.
