Akeem was a superior gimmick to One Man Gang. I was always a big fan of Akeem. The sight of Slick and the African Dream dancing was hilarious. I loved both their characters and this theme song is awesome. I miss this era of the "WWF" very much.

Man I haven't heard this in ages. I don't remember it sounding this cool, but heck it's sure making me feel all groovy wanting to bob my head. Much props to Akeem and Slick!!

@DarthCipient Just like Gang was transformed to Akeem by magic, they should have transformed Papa Shango to Godfather that way, without those crap 'Kama' gimmicks in between.

the last match i seen his charcacter play he went back to 1man gang and he wrestled a frauded wrestler named mark von eric when they wrestled in Nacogdoches Tx at the expo center. and that was in mid 1997-1999
