EBC Ultimax brake rotors are an economical way to improve braking performance with breaking the bank. Their slots help keep the rotors cool and dry, reducing brake fade. Installation is fairly straight forward, requiring only basic hand tools. This video demonstrates how to install EBC rotors on a Dodge Ram, but installation steps should be similar for most other vehicles.

  • Forgive me if im wrong... but i believe yall installed the rotor on the wrong side of the truck. the slots are supposed to be reversed

  • @billiambarnett the direction of the slots doesn't matter, it's the direction of the cooling vanes inside the rotors that can indicate direction. If the rotor has straight vanes, the slots can point either direction, owners preference. But if the vanes are curved, then the vanes need to curve towards the rear of the vehicle. Rest assured, these rotors are mounted properly. :)

  • @billiambarnett No problem, happy to help! If you see an arrow on your rotors, its probably there to indicate direction... which EBC rotors do you have? Sport or Ultimax? Slotted, drilled, drilled/slotted, or dimpled/slotted?

  • @AutoAnything sweet! thanks for that tid bit :-) I just bought these EBC rotors for my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 and was confused... On my set of rotors there is an arrow in the rotor im assuming indicating the rotation direction.
