  • This is a common occurrence with guitars. They all wear on the frets and fret board. Stainless frets will last forever but the board will still divot.

  • Hi poyomoi, Hey I said lightly sand, I didn't try to get the divits out. I like the stew mac fretboard oil it's been working well for me. The color blended very well. And if I had refretted the whole board I would have sanded it flat it. With that much wear it's the only reasonable way to do the job.

  • wow.... crap guitar if you can put dents in it

  • you shoul'dnt have sanded them... not cool. instead, try cleaning the fretboard with 0000 steel wool, and touch it up with linseed oil.
